The Alzheimer’s Association serves Western Arkansas and Eastern Oklahoma and provides 24/7 support, education and assistance to patients, their families and caregivers. The Association also provides support for research to treat, cure, and prevent Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders.

Bost Foundation, Inc.

Bost, Inc. is one of the most respected human service organizations in our region, nationally recognized for its comprehensive and innovative programs for more than 800 children and adults with disabilities. Bost enables individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities of all ages, to achieve their goals, by providing education, employment, housing, support and other related community living opportunities.

The Donald W. Reynolds Cancer Support House

The Donald W. Reynolds Cancer Support House is our region’s first line of support for thousands of local cancer patients and their families. The House is a place for recovery and hope. The primary function is to help patients with support group members who face the same challenges, information, supplies and limited financial assistance.

Good Samaritan Clinic

Good Samaritan Clinic is a faith-based ministry that provides compassionate healthcare to the medically underserved.  We offer affordable services to low-income working uninsured, their families, the homeless, and people who are facing extraordinary life circumstances. Since opening in 2003 we have helped thousands of area residents with primary and preventive medical services, prescriptions, education, and encouragement.

The Gregory Kistler Treatment Center For Children, Inc.

The Gregory Kistler Treatment Center is the region’s premiere outpatient facility specializing in the treatment and rehabilitation of children.  With the help of physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, children learn to walk, talk, play, and do many other activities.  Truly a place of hope, the Kistler Center makes treatment possible for more than 550 children in our community. 

Helping Hands for Children

Helping Hands for Children is a program established by the St. Edward Mercy Auxiliary to provide medically related services for those in need.  Our program ensures that no baby leaves our hospital without a car seat or necessary items. We also provide over-the-counter and prescription drugs to children of struggling families. HHC offers educational programs for new parents, school age children, and children with special needs and disabilities. 

Make-A-Wish Foundation of the Mid South

The Make-A-Wish Foundation serves our area by granting wishes of children with life-threatening illnesses to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.  Not only does this enable each child to gain strength for the challenges they must face, but each family member, volunteer, and sponsor involved find their lives are changed forever with precious memories that last a lifetime.  All funds will be used to fulfill wishes in our regional area.

Making A Difference, One Kid at a Time

A project of The Sparks Guild and Sparks Woman’s Board to address the childhood obesity epidemic by reaching out to youth and introducing them to simple, effective exercise and eating routines. Encourage lifestyle changes that will reduce health problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. Our goal is to reach out to disadvantaged children who are either at risk or already suffer from obesity.
